Najac, one of the 147 most beautiful villages in France, stretches out along a ridge topped by the 1253 Chateau de Najac. It has a boulangerie, epicerie, cafes and restaurants - the quintessential French village.
Dating from the Belle Epoque, Chateau du Pic has beautiful classical proportions and a commanding position on top of a hill. There is a spectacular view of the fairytale village of Najac from all the main rooms. The village is less than a ten minute walk away.
The chateau has recently been completely refurbished and refurnished. The beds are large and comfortable, the bed linen is luxurious and the towels are white and fluffy. The house is exceptionally well equipped to be a home from home.
Within the ten acres of grounds there are woods, terraces and meadows but best of all, a saltwater hilltop pool with amazing views. The pool house has a summer kitchen with fridge/freezer and a covered dining area.
The view from the terrace and most of the bedrooms and living rooms looks across the village of Najac towards its 13th Century Chateau and the valley of the majestic Aveyron.
